Meet SaMi — an AI assistant for maintenance
AI in maintenance doesn't have to mean yet another system. SaMi is an AI assistant built into SimplyMobile CMMS that works on the data you already have. Here's what it can do.
Why AI in maintenance
Plants collect huge amounts of data: requests, work orders, machine history, production readings. Usually it sits unused. SaMi turns that data into action — it calls the right people, predicts failures, supports technicians and prepares reports itself. All inside the system you already use.
6 SaMi use cases
- Call/paging system — automatically calls the right person by process and criteria, with escalation.
- Failure prediction (ML) — the ML model predicts failures before they stop production.
- Technician information support — answers and instructions at the machine, on demand.
- Worker safety — oversight of worker safety and risk alerts.
- Self-service spare-parts store — issuing and returns without a storekeeper, with stock control.
- Reporting automation — reports are generated automatically from system data.
The call system in practice
SaMi calls the right person, presents the request and lets them accept or decline the task by voice — with escalation if no one answers.

Talking to SaMi — answers from your data
A technician asks by voice or text, and SaMi answers based on the history in the system — e.g. a machine's last repair, its cost and the parts replaced.

Helmet detection (safety)
Camera-based safety checks — SaMi analyzes the image and verifies, for example, that a helmet is on before work starts.

How to start
We configure SaMi for your processes — you choose the use cases that matter most, and we define the criteria and paths. The best first step is a demo where we show SaMi on your own example.
Frequently asked questions
- Does SaMi require a separate deployment?
No — it's an AI layer in SimplyMobile CMMS. If you already have the system, enabling SaMi is a configuration, not a separate project from scratch.
- Which use case should we start with?
Usually the one that hurts most — e.g. the call/paging system or failure prediction. We add the rest later.
- Does SaMi work on mobile devices?
Yes — technicians use SaMi in the mobile app, right at the machine.
